Right now, anyone who understands what is happening in the world knows that every day we are alive, as individuals and as a nation, is a miracle.  Our Rabbis tell us that there are only certain actions that can help us under such turmoil.  Number one is the Holy Torah.  “Torah magnah u’matzlah.”  When it is learned properly, for HaShem’s sake, the Torah has the power to protect and save us from all danger in this world and the next. Torah and Mitzvot are the food and clothing of the soul in this world and the World to Come.

Our Rabbis teach us that the Torah is the root of everything in creation, from the highest places in the spiritual worlds to the lowest places in physical world, from the beginning of time to the end of time and everything in between, qualitatively and quantitatively, in general and for each individual creation. Therefore, the Ramchal says in Derech HaShem that through learning and fulfilling all of the Written and Oral Torah, a person helps to bring to perfection every part of creation.  The quality of the perfection grows in accordance to one’s level of emunah (faith), fear, love, happiness and depth of understanding of what is being learned and fulfilled. So, if anyone wants to bring all of creation to its perfection, they must help all of Klal Israel do tshuvah shleimah by learning and fulfilling all of the Torah until its last smallest detail quantitatively and qualitatively.  There is no other solution.

The Otzar HaYomi Expansion Project is the key to reaching this lofty goal.  The “Otzar HaYomi” series is a comprehensive daily learning system which provides one with small daily portions of Chumash, Nevim, Ketuvim, Mishna, Tosefta, Midrash Rabbah, Midrash Tanchuma, Daf HaYomi Yerushalmi and Bavli, Zohar, Rambam, Tur, Shulchan Aruch, Mussar and Chassidut.  After seven and a half years, a person can merit to do a siyum not only on Shas, but also on all of the Oral and Written Torah (Please look at the attachment for the sample a of learning).  To date, after 7 years since the project started in 2017, more than 5,000 sets have been distributed and are being learned every day.

Now, with the haskama and bracha of Gedolei Israel, our goal is to have at least 1,000,000 Jews learn all of HaShem’s Torah through Otzar HaYomi.

In order to achieve this goal, we need to fund a professional global advertising, printing and distribution campaign.

We would also like to set up a professional personalized e-mail system, website, international phone lines, tablet and application that will allow people to easily learn each day and keep track of their progress and hazarah.  In addition, this system will make it possible to organize daily siyumim of all Otzar HaYomi on special dates.

We are also trying to flesh out the texts included in Otzar HaYomi with more Midrashim, Rishonim on Shas, halacha, mussar, chassidut, kabbalah and tefilot.  We also would like to make a one-year cycle version of Otzar HaYomi for yearly hazarah and a 40-year version that allows for slow in-depth learning of the texts.

We also would like to hire Magidei Shiurim to teach and take questions on the daily learning in 8 languages (Hebrew, English, Yiddish, Spanish, French, Portugese, Persian and Russian).

We would also like to provide a follow-up service that will assess if people are able to keep up with the learning and provide access to expert Mashgichim who can help guide those who experience difficulties.

We would like to bring Otzar HaYomi to Yeshivot, Kollelim, Talmudei Torah, Batei Knessiyot, Kehilot and Daf HaYomi shiurim by donating fully or partly subsidized sets, as well as offering a monthly soft-cover version.

We want to fund a one-year kollel where 2,800 avrechim will make a daily siyum of the Otzar HaYomi for the yeshuah and hatzlachah of Klal Israel.  More importantly, the avrechim will also learn the material in depth and write clear and understandable pamphlets with commentaries, summaries and tefilot.  They will then record audio/video classes for each daily section of learning to make the material as accessible as possible.  We want that every word that is learned should be applicable in everyday life with clear instructions and conditions on how to fulfill each detail in the best way possible.

The material is ready.  We have the infrastructure and the manpower.  We just need funds to get the project going.  We do not want, chas v’shalom that lack of funding should keep us from doing our part to save the Jewish People and the world.  Our Rabbis teach us “Ein Aniut B’tzibur,” there is no lack of funds when Klal Israel come together to make a project happen.

We want as many people as possible to have the merit to help launch this historical and momentous project. The merit of the Torah and the holy Tzadikim that taught it will without doubt bring all good possible to those who fund such as endeavor.  Those who need zechuyot and yeshuot in spiritual matters and physical matters, parnassah, refuah, chinuch, shalom bayit, iIui neshamah for loved ones who have passed away, can dedicate parts of the project.
